The car for the 2010 season is expected to once again be backed by an engine from Renault.

“We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with Renault over the last three years – they treat us with excellent parity and have been an important part of our success this year. We will have to consider very, very carefully if we are to change engine-supplier for next year. We are reaching a position in our own minds, and we will firm that up I would think very soon.”

The Red Bull team are being tipped by many for even greater success next season. Sebastian Vettel is currently as short as 6/1 in the online betting markets at Bwin to lift the F1 championship trophy. It is McClaren who head all the markets, however, with the British partnership of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton making up their team.

The Origin of the Red Bull Racing Team 0

The Red Bull racing team has been developed after the Jaguar F1 team decided that they could not build a case to keep racing. On the last day for the sale Red Bull agreed its purchase of Jaguar Racing. The team was purchased for nothing more than a symbolic dollar, and was purchased with the intention to invest more than four hundred million dollars into the team and into the Grand Prix over the upcoming three seasons.

With the purchase of the new team there was a partnership that would also come to an end. Ford would be forced to end the partnership with Sauber. In 2004, with the purchase of the team, would come one of the most popular racing franchises that could be seen throughout the Formula one racing community.

Through the acquisition of the team, and the popular sponsorship of Red Bull, the team has just increased in popularity throughout this time. The other team that is owned by Red Bull is the Red Bull Racing Junior team, which has an array of promising young drivers hoping to make it to the Formula One track someday. As well as drivers in the Red Bull, as well as the Junior team, there are also an array of drivers that can be found in another team that feeds the F1 races, the GP2 teams – and therefore there are a variety of drivers within this series that are sponsored by Red Bull.

The origins have led to a fantastic result, as the Red Bull Racing team has finished first, for the first time, through the 2009 F1 racing season at the Grand Prix in China, a milestone for the team – a first, after the team has been known as Red Bull Racing.
